Hotel Guest Review
I stayed two nights at the Inn on Temple Street. To be honest, I think the hotel has not gotten any new carpets for several years. However, the staff are very friendly and they did keep the hotel very clean.
Although the decor are rather tired, I still enjoy myself while staying in this hotel due to its central location in China Town. It is very convenient to travel to some of Singapore's tourist hot spots such as the Singapore River, boat quay, the financial district which are all only walking distance from the hotel.
Going to Raffles Hotel and the colonial district was also within easy access. The hotel is located very near to the china town metro stop.
The reason why I choose this hotel is due to its location at China town. Chinatown area has a great vibe and atmosphere with the presence of street traders and the wide range of food stalls which makes me generally much more preferred to stay than compared to other places such as around Raffles and north of the river.
Overall, I think The Inn is a good budget hotel.
