what we people need a good budget hotel with standard comfortable bed n nice,clean toilet to stay while we traveling.

Summer tavern gives me a comfortable stay in my holidays for the past few weeks. I enjoy the facilities provided and the thrilling events that excites me throughout the stay. The hotel rental is cheap and affordable by everyone. I would love to stay in this hotel again.

The owner Khalil is such a lovely man and the staff are all wonderful, I stayed here with my five daughters because we could not get booked into a hotel. If I come to Singapore again I would not even bother looking for a hotel, I would just come to Summer Tavern as what they give you as a guest money could not buy!!!! I would like to thank all of the staff for their kind consideration to both myself and my daughters during our stay, if you are looking for people who will give you a high standard of service with a kind smile then this is the place for you. The MRT is just over the road, Chinatown, Orchard Rd amd many other places are within easy walking distance and the shopping centre over the road has a lot to offer. Ask Khalil to direct you to the Night safari as it is well worth the MRT Trip and the short bus ride (only $4), try to get back the next day for elephant riding! Make sure you visit the Temple of the Mercy Goddess on Waterloo st, if you want to see how people in Singapore worship, it is an experience, especially if you are interested in Kuan Yin, the Goddess of compassion and peace! Thanks Khalil, Subass, Samir and all the guys!!!!!! for making our stay so special

Travelling by MRT
If travelling by MRT, alight at the Clarke Quay (North-East Line) station. Follow exit E from the station. Upon exit, on your left you will find a traffic light with a pedestrian crossing. Take the pedestrian crossing across Eu Tong Sen Street / New Bridge Road. You will find Carpenter Street on your right. Summer Tavern will be just around the corner. We are located beside the SAFRA Town Club, as highlighted in the map below.
