A location for viewing wildlife in Singapore is the 130-hectare Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve which houses over 500 species of flora and fauna.
The wetland also serves as an important stop-over point for migratory seasonal birds on the East Asian Australasian Flyway. Birds come from even as far as Siberia to escape the winters drop by Singapore before reaching Australia. Such birds arrive from March and September.

Beware though, the park is also home to bees, hornets and wasp, and crocodiles. It is therefore advisable to to stay on the visitor routes for this reason.
