Halal food

For all the Muslims out there, there no worries when coming to Singapore to eat.

Due to the significant presence of the Muslim community, halal food is sold by Muslim stalls and these stalls can be found in all food centres or food courts in Singapore. Halal foods are usually Malay-Muslim food or Indian-Muslim food, and sometimes localized western food. However the Banquet chain of food courts are fully halal, including Chinese food.

Most fast food chains, including McDonalds, KFC, Pizza hut, Burger King and more also offers fully halal menus.

There are over 400 halal food outlets that are recognised and certified by the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS) although Muslim stall owners may opt not to apply for a certificate.

  1. Great articles & Nice a site….

  2. I’ve been an enthusiastic supporter of this site for a while and never actually offered nearly anything back, I am hoping to alter that in the future with an increase of conversation. Thanks for another new addition to the website.
